The babies of Abigail have grown much to quickly and have now moved on to their new forever homes. We lost Little Bit, a blue who was the runt of the litter. He was the smallest, weakest and the other babies pushed him out of the way during their feeding frenzy. These tiny little furballs do fight each other to make sure they nurse. A couple of days after I realized he was not getting enoug food, I rushed out to pet smart and got him some kittem milk and a bottle. I fed this tiny little ball of fluff every 3 hours, to weak to suck I dropped the food drop by drop into his little mouth. He survived overnight and the next morning I found that he had crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. I tried so hard to save him, It broke my heart that I could not. I guess as the saying goes. " only the strong survive." is sad but true.
All the other kittens survived and grew into sweet, little, furrie purries which as always, I find soooooooo hard to let go.
Otis, sealpoint himmie has gone to live here in Charleston with Diane Blackwell. Diane adopted Becca Bluebell from the previous litter, Otis was the only male in the litter, his new name is Sam. I call Little Bit a he but he was really to small to tell. Otis is doing marvelous, Diane keeps in touch and sends me regular updates. She tells me he is the most laid back cat she has ever owned. Charlotte and Gracie are still running and playing together in Cottageville WV. and live with the Truman Long family.Charlotte was the black smoke, seems we have a black smoke in every litter, and Gracie a blue.
Emma lives in Logan WV with Emily Mullins, Emma, also a blue, the lighter one is happy and her new nane is Sonya Jayne.
Tori went to live with Heather Baisden in Mingo County, Heather recieved the kitten as a birthday gift from her husband. I do not know how she is doing, I have tried to email, but have not had updates.
Molly had several people that wanted her, One lady told me during the interview that if she was going to pay $400.00 dollars for a kitten, that it was none of my business what she does with it. I had to inform her that she would not now or ever get one of my furrie purree katz. The other interested party would have loved her, but wanted her to be an inside/outsde cat. I could have never let that happen so Molly was taken off the ad and lives with me. She is growing like a weed and will be 6 months old on Nov.21st. Molly Marissa Fuzzybutt is her name, she is already as big as Abigail and growing weekly. I think she is going to be a big cat. We love her dearly and she is a total lap cat and a purring machine who loves to play, she will not extend her claws during playtime so we never get scratched. She also loves to lick you to death. I am posting a few photos of her on the blog.
