The Kittens are 6 weeks old on Tuesday

How Fast they have grown in such a short time

Today is Saturday Sept. 13th and my babies are becoming little monsters, I come to visit and feed them and they climb up my legs, arms, and back when I am cleaning the cage, litterbox,etc. They no longer are clumsy, they climb up the side of the kitty condo, as well as up the kitty scratching post, They wrestle each other, wrestle mom,and me, They run most everywhere they go and gang up in threes to get mom.

They are learning not just to lick solid foods and get it all over them, but they are actually learning that they can chew it. Izzie is the slowest one as she still wants to lick and suck at the food and be hand fed. Cinder (black Persian male) is as always the smartest and the first to accomplish everything, he did a bog boy poo in the litter box today and seemed so proud. Leo the Lion (lilac point Himalayan male) is peeing in the box and figured out last evening that shredded chicken tastes really good even if it is inside a bowl that you stick your head into, He is also still the biggest and the best looking of the litter. I would have chosen him as my favorite to keep if he wasn't a male, as Daddy Zachary Pierre is an exceptional male who believe it or not ,has never done the male spraying thing, for this reason I am not going to bring another male into his territory, his child,neutered or not. I definitely will not push my luck on this one. He is a really good cat.

Speaking of Leo the Lion, He is being adopted already and as soon as he is old enough will be going to live with Brittany in Doddridge County, WV. Brittany is anxiously waiting to bring him home and we email back and forth alot.

Becca (blue female) likes the chicken as well and is learning the litter box issues too. She thinks I am a tree and climbs up my leg and into my lap, she also cries alot when the wrestling is going on, she does love to play but does not like the rough stuff, she is so furry and adorable and I love to fluff up her fur as it is so soft and she just loves to be petted and scratched underneath her chin. her coat is going to be so nice as she grows. Her eyes are still blue but I can see them starting to change when I look into her adorable little face when she wants me to hold her, their are little glints of cooper begining.

Ms. Chevious Izzie Bella Fuzzybutt is still trying to master both the litter box and licking at the solid food, she wanted to eat the shredded chicken but could nor seem to figure out the chewing, she just licked at it and went back to mom for nursing. I haven't seen her drinking water yet , she will stick her paw into the water bowl and lick it off.

Aunt Zoe comes to visit and touches them ever so gently, talks to them and watches them with awe when they are playing. Zoe would have been a great mom too, as she took to Abagail when we first brought her home and cleaned her, they slept together, for the longest time side by side, I think Abigail thought she was her other mom.

Daddy Zach looks huge when he is standing beside them and he gets close enough to sniff but usually watches from a distance.
